I don’t win competitions. Well not the ones I really want to win anyway. I once won a calculator by entering a weekly maths competition in the newspaper. In my final year of junior school, after my family having had at least one child there for 17 years straight and never having won a prize at any of the school raffles, I finally got drawn for a raffle! After collecting my prize and eagerly looking to see what I won, I was disappointed to find a bag full of cleaning products. A calculator and cleaning products, how fun!
You can understand then that I was pretty excited to win something worthwhile last week! Thanks to Things Dee Loves, Michael and I got to go to the The Homemakers Expo yesterday. It was so convenient to be able to speak to different suppliers of the various little updates we’re hoping to do to our house, all under one roof.
